It’s called the MIC money tree…or is it the money pit?

Our president has become a slave to the MIC, and the sad thing is that he doesn’t even seem to know it. It’s so “of the culture” of Washington that it seems normal, and those of us outside the Beltway just don’t get it and we don’t appreciate those who do. They are so wise, and they are protecting us punters from ourselves.

Ever been to a D.C. cocktail party? It gets pretty thick…

Ah, but one must keep in mind that most people inside the Beltway actually think that what they do is important – which isn’t necessarily so. I used to remind myself and others, that it wasn’t, all the time, back when…

@Jon – you nailed it.. It is going to be the only war going and the Pentagon/MIC really needs a war to have have “The Power”. Without a war, say you had a police action to deal with terrorism, then what how could all those Pentagon Warriors get money, people, and juice???

    A sad, but true observation.

What a sad comment that all there are is two, now three comments on this post. Resistance is futile…?

JTM, too few are willing to express their profound disappointment in the guy they voted for. Not that we’d be in any better shape with McCain/Palin…

The current state of affairs would pale in comparison…to make a bad pun…

    WAR is PEACE
    FREEDOM is SLAVERY
    IGNORANCE is STRENGTH

Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia: Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.

What can we possibly add that Orwell didn’t come up with in 1948? Those who don’t learn from history and all that…

Meet the new boss…same as the old boss.

No. The obvious is sometimes not worth restating.

One of those so-far foiled plots is going to succeed soon and we’ll be back to calling for the heads of Muslims. This time we won’t be discriminating.

“Really, Charlie Brown, this time I am really gonna hold that football for you! I hope you can trust me, Charlie Brown! I’ve Changed! C’mon! You’re gonna kick it a mile!”
