OMG-Jeb Bush for President?

With three hundred (some odd, and I do mean some odd) million people in the US, isn’t it unseemly for GHW Bush to be promoting a (nother) member of his own family for the position of President of the country? It wouldn’t even matter if the other of his sons had done a bang up job, it would still be wrong and terrible manners, at best, for him to even discuss it. These people are extraordinarily graceless. These are some seriously out of touch and out of control egos.
Why stop with Jeb? Wouldn’t Jenna be a good choice for 2020? The first woman president? Then maybe Barbara Pierce after that. I don’t blame them for thinking we just can’t get enough of them. Especially after hearing Mrs. Bush say that no one has suffered more from the Iraq War than she and her husband. She should speak that comforting thought to Cindy Sheehan. It would take Dante to do justice to how profoundly and insultingly maladroit these people are.

OK I will now attempt to channel the average American citizen circa 2003.
“Hey maybe Jeb will give us a $300 tax break like his brother did. Better than these tax-and-spend Democrats! Plus he’ll probably keep it in his pants unlike that notorious arch-Satan Bill Clinton.”

It appears that JEB!, who a Fundamentalist I talked with insists that according to his reading of Revelation is the Antichrist, will not take a shot at the Disgustocrat Mel Martinez’s Senate job in 2010. One would expect that would be to keep him from being in the same (relative position as one Barack Obama, with only a short Senate tenure (and in Bush’s case, a poster-child neocon/Heritage Foundation tenure as FLA GOV) on his resume. And in the best position to be Free To Run.
When he goes for it in 2012, will all the whispers be about the Bush League being the Blessed Royal Family that will Save Us from Tax-And-Spend via the New Right platform of “We’re Spending Our Children’s Inheritance!!!
