Presidential Technology Platforms

My best doctoral students just completed a very good review of both candidates technology platforms. It’s pretty comprehensive and very balanced.

    Thanks Jon,
It’s easy to lose sight of this stuff in the glare of recent headlines, but I think it’s more important than ever to keep a watchful eye on the cultural and civil liberties issues your students reviewed . I wonder how many in the community here have read Cory Doctorow’s “Little Brother” or belong to http://eff.org or support Lessig’s efforts with http://creativecommons.org … anyway kudos to your students. And to the readership here, check it out.

Jon, read it. Great work. It’s an important issue that has been buried by many other important issues. I was glad to revisit it. Don’t suppose anyone wants to tackle their views on the extension/contraction of executive power now? I would love to see such a thorough, yet concise, report on that question.
