Please someone, get the rights to these and fund these (see prior DS) through a PAC and run them as TV ads. I loved the filp/flop in real time cuts the other night especially, but Daily Show…..
I’ve been watching the Daily Show last week and it almost looked like they had a hard time keeping up with the amount of hypocricy and cognitive dissonance generated by the RNC.

That’s funny, Alper. I was thinking exactly the same thing. It’s like these guys don’t even know where to begin.
Of course, once they do get going, they can’t seem to stop. It’s just bottomless…

What does it say about the state of US television that the only show willing to properly hold either party to account is a comedy show?

This has been a long running concern with JS. I think he regards his entire show as one giant WTF aimed right at the mainstream media. For his true thoughts on the matter, see here.

Preachin’ to the Choir Reverand Jon.
Sing it, Brother Ken!
The Daily Show’s really been hitting hard with with these segments. I agree, though, that the viewers probably already are on the Obama train.
I’d be on board with a modified version of these (unfortunately, that means no Jon Stewart) just with the clips of McCain and Bush.

It’s long (14 min or so, but absolutely priceless, in so many ways).
Short version: “Please stop what you’re doing – you’re hurting America. “
Wakeup America!
