Who's in Charge?

As the St Paul Police continue to arrest media activists and confiscate their cameras and computers, it’s a legitimate question to ask who is in charge of this city police force that is acting more like the Beijing Security Force than an American police department. Firedoglake seems to have reached the conclusion that the RNC is calling the shots to the Secret Service which then uses the St Paul Police as the shock troops.

I have to say that I’m shocked by what I keep hearing about this from the blogosphere, but then there has been very little about it in the local (Star Tribune and MPR, at least) press.

I’m a bit ashamed of my home town(s).

I say this doesn’t break into the mainstream media.
Obama is going for an all-American bipartisan campaign.
    Very clean and very clear.

Not even MSNBC will pick this up, as it will force Obama to either break left (and lose some of his support) or admit his limits as a politician (as I believe this is a Behemoth even he is not willing to take on).

Yes, and the Republicans seem very unified behind their candidate. I really don’t think they care.

However, there are a surprising number of McCain supporters among Democratic voters who should take probably take notice. I wonder if they’re at all intimate with the blogsphere?

The American Republic has lost all legitimacy. The failure of the Clinton years and Dubya has come home to roost.

Only question is how will things be rebuilt. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYwzW2QFnwo&hl=en&fs=1]
