What happens when you spend too much time smoking Crystal Meth while listening to Rush Limbaugh (who repeats everyday how dangerous it would be if Obama becomes President)? These three geniuses told a Secret Service confidential informant that they were going to kill Barack Obama on Thursday night.
According to an affidavit filed in federal court in Denver, an excerpt of which you’ll find below, an unnamed female told a Secret Service agent that she went to a hotel room on Saturday with the three men and another woman to “‘chill and do drugs’” and that the men discussed how they “‘could not believe how close he (Obama) was to becoming president,’ and that no ‘nigger’ should ever live in the White House.” The woman also told the agent that Adolf, 33, believed that the prospective Democratic presidential nominee had a suite on the third floor of the same Hyatt hotel in which they had rented their room.
When they were stopped for drunk driving they had rifles with scopes, bullet proof vests and a trunk full of Meth.
They look like extras from “Deliverance” and though I have no proof, I’m willing to bet that they are listeners of El Rushbo. Here’s Limbaugh this week on the threat of an Obama victory.
So we have a candidate who no sane political party would dare nominate a guy like this. I’m not talking about anything other than he has no experience, he’s got no achievements, but his associations with genuine America-hating radicals occasionally cause him to say things that lead me to believe he’s bought into a lot of what he’s heard. I think he’s bought into it, and I think he repeats it. I think he is the formation of an indoctrination that has occurred to him his whole life, and now he seeks the presidency. Now, anybody can try for it, but this party, the Democrat Party, as I said earlier, would nominate Daffy Duck if they thought Daffy Duck could win. They may have nominated Daffy Duck, in fact, in Barack Obama. Well, no Porky the Pig is the vice presidential nominee. Obama’s Daffy the Duck. But this stuff matters, it’s real, and we have a Drive-By Media which is not interested. They don’t care, either. They don’t care what Obama really is. In fact, they know and want to cover it up. And so it has to get out there. You know, what you do with it is up to you.
Rush leaves it up to his meth crazed Dittoheads–”What you do with this information I’m giving, is up to you”.
WTF?
This is the trouble with echo chambers. By dismissing his critics as haters not even worth engaging, Rush has gotten to the point where the only person he can hear is himself, and those that sound like him.
The best thing for people in his audience to see is who they’re sharing an interest with.

I personally think Rush is like you Jon – disappointing, because he’s so non-constructive. Dennis Miller is right on tho.

It’s strange that a nation-wide radio talk-show host could get away with this. Is Limbaugh on a do-not-fly list somewhere? Does the Secret Service ever follow him around?

after the shooting at a unitarian church a few weeks ago, a woman wrote a column about the fact that the shooter had a lot of right wing propaganda from the likes of limbaugh and coulter, etc.
She got shredded by the right for daring to suggest that their words had in anyway encouraged this crazy guy to show up and shoot people.
I’m all for freedom of speech, but be willing to take responsibility for the full effects of your words.
Also, it’s interesting how this fear of assasination hangs on the fringes of this election. References to MLK Jr and the Clinton gaffe about anything can happen. . . it’s a very possible threat in this historical election year.
That these yahoos were “inspirational” not “operational” doesn’t diminish the notion that some Americans would rather see Obama dead than President. A segment of the population are still steeped in racist propaganda and ignoring them doesn’t make them go away.

Zak, this is true. Ignoring them will not make them go away. But they are lost souls, beyond reclaim. One must engage their children. Only then can we break with the cycle that has been spinning since the slave-owners set down a decree that “All Men are created equal.” (just that those with lighter skin are more equal than others…)
