Fox Spills The Beans
Fox just released the exit poll numbers in Wisconsin. If Obama is winning 50% of the women and 51% of the voters earning under $50K, it won’t be a good night for Hillary. I have felt for the last week that all the bloviating going on about brokered conventions and stolen super-delegates was nonsense. I think this whole thing will be over by the morning of march 5th.
With this whole women’s vote/black vote thing going on, what would happen if the gender/race thing were flipped? Would Clinton be getting women’s votes if she said exactly the same things, but she was a man? Would Obama get more votes if he were white and was otherwise the same? Are some people voting for Hillary JUST because she’s a woman? And wouldn’t that be simple reverse sexism? Are some voting against Barack JUST because he’s African-American? That would certainly be racist.
CNN Projects Obama the winner of Wisconsin!
with a cool 1% reporting!

I would hardly describe America as a colorblind/ sexblind? society, there are natural tendancies for people to make presumptions or choose what they would like to see without logic beyond the logic of looks or bias. I do however think that if Hillary were a man, and did the sdame things he still wouldn’t be doing so well, heck maybe even worse.
It seems pretty clear to me that the voter spread indicates that none of these factors are affecting the outcome. Barack Obama is the real deal. Rich, middle, poor – white, brown, rainbow – white collar, blue collar, no collar – Old, middle-aged, young; all types are voting for him and what they believe he stands for, what they believe we need to do, CHANGE. Hell, I think we may be seeing that we already have changed. Did you see the lines at those voting booths in Wisconsin?
Over on the 5th? I sure hope so. But given how ruthless and tenacious Clinton’s campaign has been run so far, I worry that she will have the temerity to fight this all the way to the convention, despite any perceived negative connotations for the Democrat’s chance in November.
Above all, she’s calculating and willing to do whatever it takes to win. This reference to her vote against banning cluster bombs in civilian areas (where Obama voted for the amendment) and other similar judgments of hers suggest that she’s willing to put aside what is right for the many, as long as it is right for her. I’m tired of that attitude coming from Washington, and it is one of the reasons I’m not going to vote for her in November come hell or high water.

Maybe voting for the Iraq war and for cluster bombs to be dropped on civilians is what she means by getting things done…
How about a Hillary Clinton/Diane Feinstein Democratic ticket from Hell?
